Love yourself, totally and unconditionally. Love even the part that is not loving you. Embrace your being with full acceptance of everything. At the moment you actually permit yourself to do that, a light will shine through you which will melt away your dark sides

Maybe it is hard to believe this. Because the world seems to be against you and  isn´t such a friendly and heavenly place right now. But that’s a mirror reflection of you against parts of you. If you embrace yourself, the world will embrace you.

In a way you could say that the universe ‘punishes’ people who do not love themselves. And also the people who only can give love to others, won’t get away with it, and can count on a rude wake up call. Because loving others is not enough.

Others will feel it, no matter how good a person is to them. Unconsciously people don´t like persons who don´t love themselves. They sense that there is something wrong. And at some point they will push them away. Or they are left behind when there is no more to get from them. So they have no other option left than to start learning to love themselves. When they reached the bottom of their pit, they finally have to go inwards, because there is no other person to project their love upon. Of course then they will stumble upon their inner wounding that stops them from loving themselves. And it’s a painful encounter. But it is the only way to heal.

Caring must always start by caring for yourself. Because if we don’t take care of ourselves first, soon we cannot take care of anybody at all. So people have no other option than to stand up for themselves and claim their rightful place in the universe. To them this is an almost impossible task. And for some it is easier to kill themselves than to love themselves. The universe won’t let you get away with anything. Good intentions are not good enough. The world will slap you over and over again, until you learn. The shocks will go on until you are willing to face the truth. It´s a self-cleaning mechanism, and it hurts.

This can be hard. There is no hiding from the all-seeing eye. No escape. The only way out is in. That’s how this game works. The world will create situations to confront you. Because there is no excuse for not loving yourself. To love yourself is for the benefit of all. The universe will teach you this with the most bizarre, and even inhumane, manners if necessary, and that education goes on until you understand. Life after life after life. Yes it’s hard, but it’s only done out of pure love. Because the universe loves you just as much as you should love yourself.
